Adult Bible Study
We have three groups for adults

1. Adult Bible Studies series
2.
"Lead like Jesus"

3. Contemporary Topics

All are invited to attend these meetings at any time. Each group relies on a study guide but you don't have to prepare "homework" to get something out of each session. The purpose is to get together once a week to read Scripture with care and devotion and thus bring God more directly into our lives.

The Contemporary Topics group meets Sundays from 9:45 to 10:45 in the Education Annex. Started by Chad and Cille Beauchamp, this class focuses on biblical teaching from a contemporary perspective. The class is interactive and encourages open discussion.

Recent topics:

  • Confronting the Controversies: a Christian Looks at the Tough Issues
  • Parables from the Backside

Rev. Howard Hockenbury (retired)
leads two Upper Room Disciplines
groups that meet during the week
at Atlanta Bread Company in Bluffton
(near Kroger). One group meets mornings
while the other meets evernings.
