Music Ministry
Bluffton United Methodist Church uses music to generate excitement, beauty and inspiration during worship services. The choral and instrumental programs are intended to nurture those involved and to give a means of contributing in worship, outreach and praise as well as an opportunity for personal growth and enjoyment. Our Music Ministry welcomes anyone who would like to join in this most rewarding endeavor. Whether you are a professional musician or someone who wishes to join a musical group for the first time, there is a place for you. Our Music Ministry offers a variety of ensembles and musical styles for any musical taste and experience level.

BUMC is truly blessed by our talented and devoted musicians, vocal and instrumental, under the direction of Keeley DiMartino and accompanied by organist Michael Cole.
The Chancel Choir is an integral part of our worship services, providing special music and leading the congregation in singing. Other members and guest artists often lend their talents from time to time.
Of course we always welcome anyone to join the choir. The choir is open to anyone who would like to lend their voice to this fun-filled, uplifting and spirited group of singers. We are always in need of sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses. Reading music is not a requirement, but it is helpful.
Rehearsals are 6:30 PM every Wednesday from September to May.

BELL CHOIR
Bluffton UMC is blessed to have a very active handbell choir, Wesley Ringers. They typically play the first Sunday of the month at both services. Rehearsals are about 1 hour in length and begin at 11:00 AM Mondays. If you cannot make a rehearsal or a Sunday service, we have a list of substitute ringers who are willing to take your place for the time you are away.
We welcome anyone who is interested in this ministry to contact Nancy Osgood at njcosgood@gmail.com. If you can count to four, like to laugh and the joy of worshipping through music, then you qualify.
youth praise Club
All 7th through 12th graders are invited to join us for Youth Praise Club at 5:30 PM in the Music Suite. In the fall and spring, meetings are on Sundays.
